A nice relaxing drive today.

So here are photos of the RV and the registration office as we are ready to leave Blue Cedars RV Resort in PG.  Some of the trailers around us were very run down with permanent residents and it was quite muddy in our area.  I don't think we would stay here again.  It was a quiet night and we were up and out just after 8am.

Our first stop was in Vanderhoof for another Row X Row pattern.
This Quilter's Corner was inside the Vanderhoof Department Store.
Along this highway from Prince George to Prince Rupert - there
are lots of lakes.  I think fishing in this area must be quite popular.
One of the little towns we went through was Fraser Lake.
We still have a long way to go to get to Prince Rupert.
More road construction.  I guess it keeps the locals employed.
We have driven through many areas with different Native Bands.
This is one of many Grave Yards that are common along the road.
Another interesting piece of "Yard Art".  A Blue Moose!
Time for another Quilt Shop.  This little shop is in Burns Lake
and has yarn and sewing supplies.   Very nice friendly staff.
Reminders of Days gone by...
We went through a town called Houston.  It is well know for
Steelhead Salmon fishing.  A beautiful park along the highway.
World's Largest Fly Fishing Rod...  or so they claim.
We arrived at our destination just south of Smithers.  This
is the Fort Telkwa RV Park.  We backed into a beautiful
site which looks over the river.  Love this place.

I took this picture while sitting in the RV.  What a great
view and is so nice to sit and listen to the river running by.
Tomorrow - we will be in Prince Rupert!
