On Monday August 13th, with Terry and Muriel now in town we went out to Fischer Fuel to welcome back the MVs from the Arctic Circle. Bev & Wayne the owners, were so kind and had fresh baked cinnamon buns, muffins and hot coffee for everyone. They discounted the fuel price for us all and they also had arranged a big water truck to allow the MVs to get washed after the long trek on the dirt road.
We then went and spent some time checking out the town, did some shopping and stopped for lunch. We went back to the RV to get the last of our laundry done and other odd chores to be ready to hit the road on Tuesday morning.

In the evening, a large group of Convoy participants went to Diamond Tooth Gerties. We chose a table at the front and set Terry up to be the one hauled up on stage. It was a really fun night and had some good laughs at Terry's expense.

Then it was back to the RV for an early night.
