Wednesday, August 8th we were able to sleep in as we waited for all the MVs to head out before the support group hit the road. On the first leg of our journey today we saw 2 black bears on the side of the highway. We took a short morning break after about 90 minutes at Rancheria and then were back on the road and then we stopped for lunch in Teslin.
The view along the way.
An old truck at Rancheria.
After lunch we traveled for about an hour, made a quick stop at a Rest Area to stretch our legs and then continued on to Whitehorse. We pulled into the Pioneer RV Park at 2:30, filled up with diesel and then hooked up the RV to sewer, water and electric.

We took a drive into town to get Muriel’s tire repaired and then did a little shopping at Walmart and Real Canadian Superstore. Back to the RV for a shower and a nice dinner and then time to relax.
Welcome sign.
Tomorrow will be another day to sleep in as we don’t need to leave until 9am.
