Toad River Lodge to Watson Lake, Yukon

Monday, August 6th we again hit the road at 6:30am with all 3 support vehicle teams following.  After a while we stopped at a pull-out across the highway from Liard River Provincial Park for a short break.  Back on the road again and we continued past beautiful Muncho Lake.

Traveling along Muncho Lake.

We saw wild horses and also came across lots of Bison on both sides of the road – man are they huge!

Only 3 of many.

We stopped for an hour lunch break at Allan’s Lookout and then it was on to Watson Lake.  We checked in at the Downtown RV Park and since we get to stay for 2 nights, we made a quick run for the laundry room and got caught up.  After some yummy burgers on the grill it was time for showers and an early night.
