Rest Day in Denali.

Sunday, August 19th was a rest day in Denali so we slept in and then did some cleaning up in the RV.  We headed into town around 10:30 and first stopped at the Denali Visitor's Centre. 

We continued down the road to a little place called Healy to find Gramma's Quilt Shop but unfortunately it is closed on Sundays and Monday.

On the way back to town we were treated with the arrival of the train coming in to Denali so we stopped and took a picture of it crossing the trestle bridge.

We did a little shopping and then stopped for lunch with Muriel & Terry at a cute little restaurant.

At 3:00pm we all took an ATV tour.  We opted for the side by side rather than individual quads.  We took a bus out to the site where we got on the ATVs and headed up into the mountain side.  We had 3 different stops and the views were incredible.

After we returned to the RV for a later dinner and quiet evening.
